Bessie Young MD, MPH is a nephrologist at the Seattle VA, an asst. professor at the UW, and director of home hemodialysis for the NW Kidney Center. Her presentation at the African American Kidney Health Conference included moderating a panel of those in current kidney failure answering the questions of those present. The most common cause of kidney failure is diabetes.
