I Got a New Lease on Life

Karen Anschell came by the Ballard branch of Your 2 Feet (Dr. Z-coil) and led the explanation for all present on how her Z-coils gave her "a new lease on life". Karen says, " I carry a stack of cards and brochures to pass around to anyone who asks about my shoes. I just came from the Puyallup Fair where I was able to walk around for 8 hours. I bought the sidewinder sandals about 15 months ago, and the Blue and White Freedoms 14 months ago. It is incredible to be able to walk again. I bought my shoes from you when you had a booth at the Puyallup Fair last year."

She even talked her husband who works for the postal service to get a pair of Z-coils.

She says,"He has back and leg problems. He drags his feet a lot. He got the Z-coils and they really helped his pain as well. I needed to get him a new set of coils today for his Freedom 2000 Z-coil since he drags his feet a lot and wore them out. Mine have not worn out like his did."Posted by Picasa

Groundbreaking Celebration on Vashon

The adventures of Anne Dulfer continue: After five years of stellar service working for Dr. Kerch, Anne decided to wed Jamie (pictured on her right). They have had two adorable boys, Ashton and Ari. Behind Anne, Jamie, and his brother Steve, there is the foundation work beginning on their 3000 SF home on their 40 acres on Vashon Island. Jamie has shifted gears as a high powered Microsoft employee to converting his newly acquired acreage to a newly planted forest. Once the home is completed, they will be able to concentrate in earnest on developing the land back into forest land. Posted by Picasa

Anne-Marie Starts Efforts at Your 2 Feet and with Dr. Kerch

Hi! I'm Anne-Marie, the new face you've been seeing at both our Ballard and Pine St locations. I just moved to the Seattle area in July, to work for Your 2 Feet and Dr. Kerch, from Portland OR where I grew up. I've spent the last couple years working on my Bachelor's in Biology at Portland State University and in my free time I've been with my adorable baby niece Ruby. Ruby is two years old on Friday September 16th. Happy Birthday Rubels!! I moved to Everett to be with my beloved, Jim. In early September Jim and I went camping with my best friends Lecion and Serena at a Renascence Faire. Here I with Jim. Although not pictured, I am wearing my Z-coils- they enable me to walk around all day at the faire, something I haven't been able to do for years. I hope to see you all soon!! ~~Anne-Marie

Field of Dreams- Marienfeld, Germany

This is not the aftermath of Katrina. If you have wondered how to see the pope on World Youth Day, this is what it looks like. Take close to a million young people from all over the world, allow no tents (for security reasons) and open up a field for us to sleep. We were lucky it did not rain! Look at those clouds...it opened up rain before and after, though. Posted by Picasa

St. Francis de Assisi, Italy

I wore my Z-coil sidewinder sandals on the many treks including this one at St. Francis de Assisi. The teens from my church group were full of energy, cheers and songs. Needless to say what a change from my normally sedentary lifestyle. Posted by Picasa
