Did someone say Birthday Time

It's Heidis Birthday and her mom brought her for her very first pair of Z-coil shoes. Heidi fell off a horse when she was 17 and has serious back pain now. She has been seeing a chiropracter 4-5 times a month to reduce some of the pain and pressure she has caused by this accident. She has done lots of research on Z-coil shoes and even our website http://www.your2feet.com/ She first saw them at Dr's Office where she works. She bought a pair of Black Tia's and is hoping to reduce some of this pain.Follow up story to come.....

Interview: Mike Gonzalez the CEO of Xtenex

powered by ODEO

Caesar Snee, the owner of the San Jose and San Francisco Z-Coil(r) Pain Relief Footware stores, talks with Mike Gonzalez the CEO of Xtenex, the manufacture of The Ultimate Shoe Lace - Knotty Boys.

The Ultimate Shoelace is comprised of laces with pre-tensioned elastic knots that control lace movement through a footwear's eyelets. When stretched, the knots collapse for easy lace-up and adjustment. When tension is released, knots re-emerge to surround both sides of the eyelet securing a desired fit.

It differs from regular laces because it can customize footwear fit around personal comfort and performance needs. It stops lace migration which is a leading cause of footwear pain, discomfort, numbness, foot fatigue and Diabetic concern. It allows custom fitting throughout the shoe instead of limiting adjustment to just an ankle tension.

Your2Feet has a variety of Knotty Boy lace colors and sizes in stock!

Pain Relief is a Family Affair

Jack Moore came in from Tacoma with his wife, Anne, and son David. David is the third generation of the family to work at Boeing. Dad has had multiple injuries at Boeing working, with 23 years seniority, as a quality assurance inspector. 4years ago he stepped into a hole in a platform and his T4-T6 was inflamed. He was taking a lot of pain pills, having pain on a scale of 10, it was an eight. While undergoing an MRI, he saw several nurses walking in Zcoil pain relief footwear. The women gave a testimonial about the Zcoil footwear and how it helped them with their pain at work walking all day at the hospital. Jack went home he did extensive research about the footwear and brought the family along to purchase their first pair of shoes. Jack and Anne bought their first pairs of cloudwalker velcro black shoes and David bought the black Freedoms (from the Puyallup store that is now closed). After all these years wearing them Jack's reduced his pain to a level 2. David started wearing them in high school due to C2 back pain from wearing heavy back packs. Now at Boeing he has had years of relief from his back pain. Mom needs a knee replacement and has cut the pain severity and reduced her recovery time. When the Boeing Auburn plant temporally didn't allow the use of the Zcoil footwear, they fought to get back the Boeing authorization and succeeded. Now they came to our Pine St store in Seattle to buy their second pair of shoe- David bought another pair of freedoms, mom and dad bought another pair of cloudwalker velcros. A family that wears (Zcoil footwear) together stays together.

Overlake Hospital Nurse in Z-coils for Two Years

Carol Connelly has worked ten hours a day, four days a week at the pre-op department of Overlake Surgery Center for what seems "forever", she says.

She was in Sequim two years ago at a restaurant with three other nurses when they noticed the waiter was wearing Z-coil footwear. Carol says, "I thought he blew his mind. I bought my first pair of white Freedom 2000 Z-coils from the Bellevue store(now that store is closed). One and a half weeks ago I bought my second pair, the Spring Z. However, I like the laced athletic style better and came in to exchange them for a blue and white Freedom Z-coil. I have just been wearing them at work so they last a long time."

Frequent occurrences are that she is the center of conversations with patients: "Grab that nurse because she has to tell me about those shoes". One nurse said," Oh, she's just an illegal alien".

Carol says," My plantar fascitis has been helped immensely by wearing the Z-coil footwear. I love my Z-coils." Posted by Picasa

Aren't They Adorable in Their Z-coils? Fifth Pair for Mary

This adorable Z-coil couple found us only after the Bellevue store closed.

Mary Lawrence started wearing her first pair a couple of years ago or so. She says, "Prior to wearing Z-coils I was unable to stand in place for longer than 5 minutes. I had a lot of difficulty walking to the point of needing disability parking. Now I am able to volunteer in a position that requires me to walk three hours at a time." Mary and Tim needed the foot bed of the Z-coils heat adjusted to a wider arch to provide more room and comfort for their arches. Mary also obtained a rubber wedge into the lateral coil to inhibit supination, or rolling out of the foot. Mary bought her fifth pair today- the Signature Anniversary shoe. She also had her coils replaced on her first pair of purchased Z-coils. We will be mailing her Anniversary out tommorrow since we are stretching the toe of the shoes out tonight.

Tim is a system administrator working on mainframes. He bought his third pair of Z-coil's today, trading his brown hikers for blue and white freedoms. He is wearing his new Spring Z's in the photo. We replaced his black freedom coils today with a new pair. Two pairs of his Z-coil footwear needed the left coil rotated 180 degrees in order to redistribute the pressure points in his heel and arch. His co-workers urged him to get the adjustments done on his Z-coils so he would wear them more. "I couldn't walk or stand in one place for more than a few minutes until I found Z-coils. (They) are the best shoes I have ever worn."

While in the store Mary mentioned doing back exercises, so we did a yoga workout including the pigeon pose.

Mt. Rainier hike to Panorama Point wearing Z-coil footwear

Lotchie is pictured here in her Z-coils hiking to Panaroma Point at Mt Rainier. There are more photos of the hike by clicking on the link below. One shows Lotchie's hiking companion, Vicki, sledding down in the snow with the beautiful wildflowers in the background. There was a marmot and a deer. Other hikers saw the mountain goats. It was blazing hot down the mountain, but quite cool here as the sunset. See Mt. Adams and Mt.St. Helens in the background.
