Linda Rogers Volunteers at the Food Bank Wearing Z-CoiL shoes.

Linda Rogers has been wearing Z-CoiL shoes for the past 15 years. She now has 4 pairs of shoes including her purchase today of her white Legend shoes from our store at “Your 2 Feet”. She states, "My white Z-Walkers need to replaced after lasting three years."

She learned about how Z-CoiL shoes work from her sister and brother-in-law, Tim and Laura. They wore the Z-CoiL shoes for quite a few years.

Steve and Linda met from a singles ad in Little Nickle and have been married for 23 ½ years.
Steve said, “The moment I saw her I realized I had been dreaming about her before we met.”

Linda allots funds for her purchase of Z-CoiL shoes. Roger reminds her, “I purchase three pairs of New Balance shoes, at $125.00 each pair, which last as long as one pair of Z-CoiL shoes.” This makes Z-CoiL shoes a bargain price, especially when they are the only shoes that give her relief.

Linda tells others who ask about her shoes, “Z-CoiL shoes do wonders for pain in my low back and knees. I will need a hip replacement for arthritis. I don’t wear any other shoes if I don’t have to.”

She retired in November 2007 from her position as an internal auditor for 5 branches of a credit union. For 14 years she assured compliance with credit union rules and procedures.
Thirteen years prior to this job, she worked in compensation and benefits in HR at a multi-care medical center.

For five years, she’s been volunteering at her neighborhood food bank.
After joining the food bank board 2 years ago, she now acts as a volunteer director for the North Mason Food Bank in Belfair, WA. This non-profit food bank has been in operation since 1982 relying on donations, volunteers and a rent discount from the landlord to stay open. She oversees other volunteers and deals with suppliers. Standing and walking on uneven surfaces in a warehouse with non regulation stairs can make walking hazardous.

Linda says, “I can tell the huge difference the four times a year I wear other shoes than Z-CoiL. Other shoes are not as comfortable, I have less stamina, and my low back and knee pain returns. I can’t wait to take those shoes off as soon as possible.”

“Your 2 Feet” and the clinic of Dr. Lotchie Kerch are relocating to Magnolia late spring 2015.
Please call 206-786-0064 for transition and relocation news.

Gisela Jenkins Buys Toffler Z-CoiL Shoes to Replace Taos Clog

Gisela J. has been wearing Z-CoiL shoes for the past 6 1/2 years. She owns two pairs of clogs, both with covered coils.  Any Z-CoiL shoes can have the springs covered (hidden).
Today she purchased a pair of "Toffler" Z-CoiL shoes for her knee and back pain.

She learned about the Z-CoiL shoes when two co-workers told her Z-CoiL shoes are roomy, comfortable and wearing them aided in relieving their back discomfort.

Gisela J. stated prior to wearing Z-CoiL shoes, she previously had leg numbness related to her back discomfort. She's had cortisone injections into her spine for relief.
Her job as a shipping and receiving clerk at Emerald Casino requires she stand at least 7 hours per day carrying products.
Her feet do not hurt like they did prior to wearing Z-CoiL shoes.

When others ask her what kind of shoes she's wearing and why, she says, "My feet, knees and back do not hurt like they did prior to wearing Z-CoiL shoes. My Z-CoiL shoes are super comfortable and well worth the price. My Z-CoiL shoes (see photo) have lasted for over 6 years."

She's opted to have her Z-CoiL coils covered with an enclosed coil so they are not so readily seen as Z-CoiL shoes.

Currently "Your 2 Feet" is located at 1201 Pine St., 206-786-0064. We lost our lease and we're moving in late spring 2015 to Magnolia.

Mission: To Change the World

Each Day, Week and Month we deliver on our mission of changing the world. Here is Pamela L.'s story:
"I am a nurse and am on my feet for many hours of the day. I had been having extreme pain in my right heel. An x ray showed that I had chipped my heel and did have some spurring. I did not know what I was going to do. I spent many hours buying and searching for shoes that would help with my pain. Nothing seemed to help. One day I went into a shoe store that sold z coils, looking for an insert that would help. I ended up buying a pair of white leather coils. From the moment that I put them on I could tell a BIG difference in my pain. My lower back pain improved also. I carry copies of the z coil brochures with me, and when we get patients that complain of back or knee pain I always have my shoes on and a pamphlet to hand out.  This is me with my dog "Tinkie" I found her abandoned underneath a bridge. She loves going on walks and I love my Z Coils and that I am able now to walk pain free. If you notice they are the hikers"

Maralee Eells Buys Her Fourth Pair of Z-CoiLs

You can have your Z-CoiL shoes custom adjusted for various fitting issues.
Ms. Eells's had all four pair of Z-coiL shoes she owns stretched for better fit.

She purchased a pair of High Desert hiking shoes during this shopping trip to our Seattle "Your 2 Feet" Z-CoiL Pain Relief Center.
She purchased her first pair of Z-CoiL shoes five years ago, the blue and white athletic style Z-CoiL.
At a young age, she had a total hip replacement for a genetic condition, TRP Type 1, which caused osteoarthritis and finger deformities. Her right hip replacement was earlier this year.
Since trying Z-CoiL shoes she's noticed relief in her ankle and heel. She doesn't get as tired, especially with walking, when she is wearing her Z-CoiL shoes.
When she doesn't wear her Z-CoiL shoes, her knees, shins, ankle and heels begin to ache.
In 2005, a fellow customer at Walmart told Maralee how much her Z-CoiL shoes were helping her foot and ankle pain.
When asked, she tells people how her Z-CoiL shoes help her foot, hip and back pain.
Last November, Maralee sustained an on the job injury where she worked as a hotel housekeeper in 2005.
She tried chiropractic care. Six months after her injury her hip joint was bone against bone. Her hip replacement was performed in December 2005.
Hunting season is in October. Last year Maralee shot her first deer, in August her first bear.
She lives in Raymond where she hikes hills and takes care of her 8th grade daughter Elizabeth.

Renae Shurtz Travels the World Wearing Her Z-CoiL Shoes!

Renae has been wearing Z-Coil shoes since 2009. She purchased her fifth pair of Z-Coil shoes at "Your 2 Feet", Z-Coil of Seattle store. She drove from Wenatchee to add to her collection.
Her other Z-CoiL styles are a pair of sidewinder sandals, Loryn, Mary Jane and blue and white Freedom tennis shoes.
She always purchases covers for her coils, so her coils are hidden with a covered coil. (See picture below).
Renae first sighted Z-CoiL shoes when she saw a woman wearing a pair of Z-CoiL shoes while touring Israel in 2009. At first Renae thought they were hideous. She questioned the woman about her shoes and learned how much relief she had received from wearing them..
When she returned home, a chiropractor in Boise recommended she try the shoes. Her first pair were the Z-CoiL Loryn's with a covered heel.

Renae is a retired bookkeeper. For 25 years she was her late husbands dental practice bookkeeper. After he died she continued bookkeeping for an oral surgeon.
Now retired, she enjoys traveling the continents of the world, including Europe, Asia, Africa, Central and North America. Some of her trips include England, France, Italy, Turkey, Greece, Croatia, Denmark, Scotland, Russia, Finland, Sweden, Estonia, Morocco, etc. Renae's favorite places  are Belize, Italy, France, Turkey. She traveled all over Turkey-Istanbul, Anatalya, Epheses.

Renae has experimented with not wearing Z-CoiL shoes for a few days. She noticed all of her joints began to hurt.
She's spent a lot of money on shoes in the past. The other shoes never helped her pain and they didn't wear as long. She ended up having to give her shoes away, including her Dansko.

When asked about her Z-CoiL experience and why she wears Z-CoiL shoes, she answers, " These are the most comfortable shoes I've ever had. They aren't the prettiest or sexy, but they work! I can't walk far in other shoes. Z-CoiL shoes take away the impact and my joints don't hurt. I take off my Z-CoiL shoes at airports because they set off the alarm."

Hearing our customers stories of having endured many years of symptoms, and then seeing our customers obtain relief wearing Z-CoiL shoes, is so heart warming and rewarding to us.

John Hunt started wearing Z-CoiL shoes in 2009. He decided to purchase his second pair of Z-CoiL Liberty black athletic shoe at Z-CoiL of Seattle, "Your 2 Feet".

Rancher LaDonna Donsbach Buys Zcoil Shoes in Seattle and Drives Friend Needing Kidney Transplant From Montana

After LaDonna heard about Z-CoiLs from her hair dresser, she went to Billings, Montana to buy her first pair of Zcoils 8 years ago. Her next pair were purchased in Rapid City South Dakota. She came  to Seattle to buy Zcoil shoes and for other reasons.

Her Zcoil cowboy boots are great for riding around her property.
She bought three additional pair today to add to her three pair collection. She just bought a pair of sandals for her trip to Hawaii. She bought another pair of hiking boots to replace her previous pair which she's worn for years. She just added a grey pair of athletic shoes to her collection.
"If I don't wear my Z-Coils I can't walk the next day. My Zcoil shoes helped immediately and my pain is very manageable."

LaDonna also came to Seattle to support a friend was born with only one kidney. Three years ago his only kidney failed. Good fortune was when another friends father was a perfect match. Ladonna and her family drove both friends from Miles City to Virginia Mason for the surgery. The kidney transplant was successfully done the next day. Both patients were up walking around Virginia Mason and conversing with each other the very next day...very fast according to staff.

Cattle farmer LaDonna purchased, with funds from her father-in-law's estate, a 20000 acres farm in Miles City. They moved from Flat Head to Miles City Montana.

After being rear-ended twice, 4 years apart, about 15 years ago she developed back, hip and leg pain. She was diagnosed with DJD to her hip and back.
This condition seems to be a family inherited condition since her brother has had hip replacements due to severe DJD.

On the ranch they call her Z-CoiL shoes "tiger" shoes.
Her job on the farm is varied from work cattle, corral and run scales, cat walk keep cattle going straight for their shots. Mostly she enjoys taking care of her grandson Clifton.
Pictured with mom LaDonna, grandchild Clifton is 1 year old and her daughter Krist.

Her four children were in 4H growing up. Her daughter Krista says she remembers going on the tractor with her folks on the weekend. As a youngster she fed cows and cleaned barns. as young as she can remember.

Tracy introduces Shona Dudley to Pain Relief from Z-CoiL shoes

Tracy has been wearing Z-CoiL shoes for 5 years and now owns 3 styles: the Z- Walker Black, Freedom black, and the Z-treks (pictured). She just purchased her fourth, a pair of black High Desert Hiking boots. She bought her first pair of Z-Coil shoes in 2008 while Z-CoiL shopping for her clients at the Portland store.
Tracy has been a counselor for the state of Oregon since 2006.
When someone asks about her shoes she answers:"My Z-CoiL shoes help relieve my back pain. I have had back pain ever since a motorcycle accident in 1988." The accident was caused by a woman, while distracted by her car air conditioner controls, turned left broadsiding Tracy.
She sustained a tibial plafond leg fracture with subsequent surgical repair with plates and screws.
When Tracy fell at work in 2002, she aggravated her symptoms and sustained l5 spinal compressions.
She no longer rides her motorcycle to avoid risk of worsening her symptoms.
Tracy and Shona came all the way from Portland to our store for several reasons. They combined an Eagles concert at Key Arena, shopping in Seattle at "Your 2 Feet" for Z-CoiL shoes in Capital Hill, AND a 6 year anniversary celebration enjoying a wonderful meal at the top of the Space Needle Skyview restaurant.
Shona tried on her first pair at "Your 2 Feet" after seeing Tracy's years of pain relief testimonial. Her big toe pain convinced her to give Z-Coil shoes a trial.  She says,"I wish I had been wearing these shoes 20 years ago. I was waiting for the coils to be covered since she climbs steep ladders at work."
Shona works at Providence Medical Hospital in facilities maintenance. Her job entails being on ladders a lot. She walks three to four miles a day in steel toed shoes at work.
Shona bought two different styles. A pair of Z-CoiL work boots caught her eye because they come with covers. Then her heart was set on buying the grey and pink cruiser style. The cruisers had to be stretched in order to not aggravate the bone spur on top of her big toe.

Both Tracy and Shona Z-CoiL shoe coils were adjusted for pronation while waiting in the store.

Shona has had her toe problem for 3 years. Her chiropractor sometimes will adjust her sore toe which helps flexing the foot for at least a month. Massage on the tendons of the foot also helps stretch her foot tendons. Shona's mom has the same condition so it's a congenital defect. She has no history of an injury. Her toe pain is affected by the weather.
She says," Theses shoes are so comfortable. Normally I have such a hard time fitting shoes. I am delighted that these shoes work, with minor adjustments, right out of the box. I appreciate  the fitting service  at the store as well."
She put away the shoes she wore in so she could wear her Z-CoiL shoes out of the store.

After enduring many years of symptoms, these stories and seeing our customers obtain relief wearing Z-CoiL shoes, are very heart warming to us.
We want you to come in, try on these impact reducing Z-CoiL shoes and see how they can help relieve your pain.
No appointment is necessary to try on the Z-CoiL shoes. Call 206-786-0064 to confirm store hours. Please ask for more information about our plantar fascitis treatment kit and about our different styles of arch supports.

Daniel and Salome Shopped at "Your 2 Feet" in Seattle for Z-Coil shoes

Daniel Lester recently came into our pain relief center "Your 2 Feet" on Capitol Hill. Two months after he started working at Harborview he saw a vender from "Your 2 Feet" selling the Z-CoiL's 12 years ago. He has been wearing Z-CoiL shoes since at Harborview Hospital. He has purchased several styles of Z-coil: Freedom black, blue and white and all white. He walks more than 5 miles a day on concrete floors as a respiratory therapist. He says his feet started "killing me at work.  Now I exclusively wear the Z-CoiL shoes to relieve my foot pain."

He tells people, "Z-CoiL impact reduction works similar to a shock on a car. I can't jump higher, but I am nicknamed Tigger at work."

Salome is a nurse at UW. She has worn the Z-CoiL shoes for three and a half years. She first saw the shoes in Arizona when some people at the hospital were wearing them. She did her CNA schooling in Arizona. At that time she had pain in her entire back from standing too long. She suffered from spinal compression. Z-Coil shoes relieve the pressure from the spinal nerves. She gets less compression and her pain is now manageable. She used to have to go to the chiropractor. She always recommends the Z-Coil to people she meets. This is her second pair: Mary Jane style and her first pair were the Bella. She has a brand new baby three months old.

Injured Former Military National Guard, Amy Hall, Gets Relief With Z-CoiL

Amy Hall is a former military Army National Guard stationed in North Carolina. She was trained as a teletype operator. Amy was injured while in the Army and was not able to go overseas. During her duty she was required to run, but she was only able to do slow running. During a 6 mile run a fellow guard told her she was going too slow. She tripped after the fellow soldier apparently whacked her hip. After tripping, her right hip was going one way, her left hip was going another way. Going to physical therapy and a chiropractor may have made her symptoms worse.
After so many years undiagnosed, Amy went to a genetic clinic. She was diagnosed with Ehlers–Danlos syndrome four years ago. This is an inherited connective tissue disorder, caused by a defect in the synthesis of collagen. Amy's grandfather had a history of repeated dislocations. Her brother in Texas suffers dislocations daily.
She has repeated joint dislocations caused by potentially anything, even her sleeping position. Her muscles relax, her shoulder slides out and dislocates. Her symptoms are exacerbated, since childhood to the present, if she overdoes activity.
Six years ago, while pregnant with her son, her symptoms worsened. She gained 200 pounds and developed other health problems from not being able to exercise. Since it is a dominant gene, her son will be flexible. A daughter would potentially have had a worsened prognoses. Her son Gabriel is able to run so he doesn't walk.
Then she discovered the benefits of wearing Z-CoiL shoes four years ago. "They gave me life back", she says. Her first pair of of brown boots was purchased here at "Your 2 Feet" in Seattle at 1201 Pine St.

She says, "I have lost 40 pounds because I can walk now! My foot, ankle, shoulder, all my joints are so much better. I do not have to take daily nightly pain meds since wearing Z-CoiL shoes".
As a civilian she does medical transcription.
If someone approaches Amy inquiring about the Z-coiL shoes she tells them, "These are the best shoes. These shoes are not toys. They are for any kind of pain-lower back on down".
Cindy Eastlund is also pictured. She is wearing her first pair of Z-Coils, a pair of leather lace shoes (Z-Walker) purchased the day this photo was taken.

Sergi Chernishov-Wears Zcoil Shoes For Four Years

Sergi started wearing Zcoil shoes four years ago. He has 4 pairs of Zcoil shoes. He has been wearing Zcoil shoes to ease the pain in his right knee, caused by cartilage deterioration. He learned about the shoes from his uncle when he shared his good experience wearing the Zcoil shoes.

Sergi and his wife Svetlana have been married for 21 years.
They met in Russia and now live in Vancouver Canada. They come to "Your 2 Feet" in Seattle from Vancouver looking for another pair of Zcoil shoes.

Sergi is a drywall taper and has been doing flat ceiling restoration for the past 25 years. Sergi's boss is promoting safety so he has recommended slip resistant and steel toed shoes.

Sergi currently owns four Zcoil styles: Santa Fe dress, blue and white tennis shoes (freedom), white walkers and a pair of sandals.

He says, "Since the shoes make you an inch taller, your feet are an inch from the ground. This (difference acts as a barrier to water) which keeps your feet drier". He is very pleased with the benefits he has received for wearing Zcoil shoes.

Our Seattle store "Your 2 Feet" is his favorite source of Zcoil shoes for the past 4 years. Please call 206-786-0064 for more information. We are located at 1201 Pine St in Seattle, WA 98101

Z-coil Success and Newlyweds From Match.com: Pamela and Leonard Goodman

Pamela has been wearing Z-coil shoes for the past five years. She is well stocked in the different styles: two pairs of the the z-walkers, a pair of sandals and hiking boots. She made the trek from Bainbridge to our store in Seattle, "Your 2 Feet" to add a pair of white Freedom's (tennis shoe) to her repertoire.
She was introduced to the Z-coil shoes by a Costco worker who checked ID's. Leonard did further research on the computer, came in to buy a pair of Lynco arch supports and decided to try the Z-Coil footwear as well. He's been wearing the same pair for five years.
Pamela OTJ injury motivated her to try the pain relief footwear-Z-coil. Her job at Pacific Coast Evergreen entailed lifting and repetitive turning. While twisting she heard a pop and ruptured her discs 15 years ago. She had radiating pain to her legs and suffered from foot drop and fallen arches, even after surgery. Then arthritis set in.
She quit her job at Pacific Coast and worked in Home Care for two years. Now she is a homebody practicing her passion of embroidery. Her dining room contains an embroidery machine, Serger Jet air threader. She works on quilts from baby to queen size. Her living room contains a 10' long arm machine; she rolls a trolley cart that circles on a frame stretching and matting. (forgive me Pamela, and embroiderers everywhere, if I messed all that up).
The Z-Coil shoes have relieved her back pain. She has so much foot pain when she tries regular shoes, she doesn't want to go without her Z-CoiL footwear.
Pam met her husband Leonard six years ago from Match.com She wanted to meet someone who lived on the Island (Bainbridge). She lived in the "boonies" near Port Orchard. He lived in Silverdale-close enough for courting.
Leonard works for wavecable.com. He works for the government building/sautering for the army, air force airport, etc.. He makes the cables that bring us the things that make our lives easier. He crimps and sauters= jacketing? He feet used to feel "heavy" until he tried the Z-coil footwear.. He lost 50 pounds so now his feet have hurt less.
Pamela is walking the treadmill two miles on an incline and has lost 40 pounds. She suffers from restless leg and needs leg and back massages. When they used Nutrisystem they lost weight, but it all came back as soon as they stopped. Now they have started a lifetime commitment to green juicing. Walking with the Z-coil helps her pain.
People ask "are the zcoil shoes comfortable?"; "do you like the z-coil shoes"?
She replies "Yes, I Love Them! I wouldn't wear any other shoes. I refer these shoes to friends and family."

Louise Roby Looking For Love Finds Z-coil

There are many reasons for people to migrate from southern California to Seattle. Love is found in interesting places and the heart leads the way. Romance (and then marriage in 2002) motivated Louise to make the leap of love. Louise met her husband by chance on the Internet. It wasn't an Internet dating service. They were on a website forum for retired people discussing a shared passion: physics. Her husband has a bachelor science degree in physics. She is well read on the subject and says "I love physics". He thought it was cool she was interested and said, " I have never a woman that was interested in physics." Their long distance relationship lasted for three years, flying between the states to be together.

Louise retired to move here. She was a recycle coordinator for the city of LA airport for twenty two years. She was a low level manager in the maintenance department. I was the "Queen of Trash", a trashy lady.

In 2003, Louise R. was looking for an electrical parts store in Bellevue. The electrical store was no longer there. It had been replaced by a Z-coil shoe store (no longer in business). The store employee, just arriving, invited them to come try on Zcoil shoes.

Since she was suffering from back pain, Louise was intrigued when she heard the premise behind the design of the shoes was for impact reduction. Over the years she has purchased six pairs of Zcoil styles: High desert hiking boot, a grey and black Mary Jane style, freedom black (tennis shoe) and two pairs of sandals. With today's purchase of the latest Zcoil 2.0 style, the Daydream, she now owns seven pairs of Z-coil shoes. Love brought about her move to Seattle, and it was here she was introduced to Zcoil shoes by happenstance.

What should be of importance to folks Louise says is "I can go longer, faster and get lots of mileage with the Zcoil shoes. Whenever I wear Tiva's or flat sandals my back pain returns because of all the pressure."

She says," I dont' want you to go out of business. I want to buy these shoes from you in person, not on the Internet. I'm 'selling' the idea of Z-coil shoes all the time. When someone asks me about my 'weird shoes', I tell them the point is they were made for athletes for runners to reduce stress on their joints. I have told people I know with RA how they should try out the Zcoil shoes."

When Louise was diagnosed with plantar fascitis, she added wearing orthotics inside the Zcoil to obtain the relief she was seeking.

She has just purchased the new 2.0 style which were designed with a lower profile arch. This clog style she chose are, "These are really good. I normally hate shoes and think of shoes as foot prisons, torture chambers. These are more comfortable than most shoes, a good fit, but they have more room across the arch. I think it is the elastic stretching in the arch of this shoe thaat feel better than most shoes. They're 'cool' and I want to wear them out today."

Louise is currently a mixed fiber media artist. She has joined a group of artists she trained with at the fiber arts certification center at the UW called "Fiber 19". They plan on displaying their art at shows. These dates are to be listed in the surface designer magazine and website (membership required).

Louise is a true advocate for Z-coil shoes. She now owns seven pairs of Z-Coil and volunteers her testimony to whoever inquires and recommends them to her friends. We appreciate you Louise!

Adrian Doll Volunteers as Retired Carpenter in Zcoil's

Adrian came in to Your 2 Feet, 1201 Pine St., to purchase his third pair of Z-coil's recently.

In this picture Adrian is wearing his first pair of well traveled white Freedom Z-coil shoes.
He has been wearing Z-coils for the past 10-11 years. In addition to the Z-Coil's pictured here, and a pair of black freedoms, he now has a pair of the black Z-walker style of Z-coil's.
After Adrian retired as a cabinet finish carpenter, he and his wife traveled around the US in their RV for thirteen years. After first seeing someone wearing the Z-coil shoes in Arizona, he spent two years studying Z-coil shoes. He questioned Z-coil wearers as to how they worked for them and how they liked the shoes.
Pain motivated Adrian to seek relief from the Z-coil shoes. He suffered from sciatica and even now he will have to crawl to the couch if he slips into a pair of regular shoes. Wearing Z-coil shoes controls the pain, it doesn't cure it.
When Adrian was asked for more personal information Adrian said, "I was born and raised in North Dakota. While I was in the air force for 6 years I was stationed in California and So. Dakota. It was very rewarding when my wife and I did volunteer work with MAPS (a Christian organization- Mobile America Placement Service- while traveling in the RV. I used my carpenter skills for assisting in maintaining MAPS buildings at camps, churches and especially helping with the teen challenge program."
Asked what his favorite place while driving around the country in his RV was Adrian said, "We traveled in the RV up and down the coast and all over for 13 years. WASHINGTON is my favorite! It always makes it nice and there is nothing that can beat, returning home to the Evergreen State."
People often ask Adrian about the Z-coil shoes. "I encourage folks with back problems to use the Z-coil shoes. The other day I saw a homeless man in Everett who was walking stooped over. I asked him if he had sciatic pain. When he said he did have sciatic pain, I told him how the Z-coil shoes helped me. I asked him if he would wear the shoes, I would give him my first pair of Z-coil shoes."
We are so pleased that such a kind and generous man has obtained such pain relief, from his sciatica, wearing Z-coil shoes. He has showed us another way to 'pass it on".
Are you ready to try the Z-coil experience? All you have to lose is your pain.

Former LA Actress Poses in Her Z-Coil Shoes at Your 2 Feet Seattle Store

Jennifer Lee has been wearing Z-Coil shoes for the past 6 years.  Now she has five pairs of Z-Coil shoes. She bought her first pair in Arizona after nurses she met recommended them.

Jennifer had the coils replaced on a pair of black Taos clogs during her recent visit to Seattle's Z-coil store "Your 2 Feet". The new coils replaced the five year old coils that were on her Taos clogs.

She also purchased a pair of the Daydream Z-Coil style shoe. The new Freedom 2 Daydream slip on style shoe has a lower profile.

It is best to replace the coils on your Z-Coil shoes about every year or two. The coils may look fine, but the steel coils do fatigue with diminishing effectiveness over the years. It will feel like the first time you tried on the Z-Coil shoes and you will really notice that spring in your step return when you try on a new pair of Z-CoiL shoes. It's time to replace your 5 or 6 year old Z-Coils! Come visit us at Z-Coil of Seattle, "Your 2 Feet", to step into a new pair.

The Daydream style is the newest addition to her other Z-Coil styles:  Taos Zipper, Spring Z, and a pair of grey clogs, and two pairs of Taos clogs.

She currently works as a Costco vendor.

Jennifer tells people she meets," The Z-Coil shoes have really helped my bad back and bad knees. They are all I wear. They act like shock-absorbers for your body."

Jennifer Lee used to be a game show hostess and had her own TV talk show in the day.

When I took this photo I captured her beautiful smile, wearing Z-Coil shoes, showing that spark of the stars.

ER critical nurse, Mary Alice Parker, Wears Z-CoiL Even Though She Has No Pain

Mary Alice Parker has been wearing Z-CoiL footwear for the last 6 years after seeing a brochure in a doctor's office at Group Health.

As a ER critical care nurse at Group Health, Mary Alice had been wearing Birkenstock sandals. After reading the brochure about the Z-CoiL shoes, she decided to give them a try. Mary converted to the Z-CoiL shoes although,"I have no pain, but I prefer comfort, so I wear the Z-CoiLs. I usually shop at St. Vincent de Paul since I prefer to pay $20.00 for a pair of shoes. By comparison, the Z-CoiL's are pricey. I find the value outweighs the cost. I really like them." She's heard orthopedists recommend Z-CoiL's to help relieve pain for bad backs.

Before working at Group Health, Mary Alice used to work at Virginia Mason. She got her nursing training 40 years ago in Wisconsin. In addition Mary Alice has had training in family therapy. She was a nursing teacher in Wisconsin years ago. When she moved to Capital Hill she began to officially work as an RN.

"I had a period of adjustment learning how to be safe wearing the (open) coils (Z-CoiL) at work. There are sometimes 8 pumps working at once in an ER room so it is imperative to learn to step carefully over all the cords", says Mary Alice. Now she relates having no problem with cords since she has trained herself to be careful.

Her first pair of work shoes were the white Freedoms (athletic style). They lasted three years until she went hiking in Nepal. Her favorite Z-CoiL, the ones she mostly wears, are her Sidewinder Sandals. She is on her second pair of black sandals. Because of her low arches, and previous foot surgery, the rigid foot bed arch support needed adjustments. While in the store, the arches were heated to expand and lower the rigid footbed of the Z-CoiL's to accomodate and keep the pressure from rubbing on her low arches. In addition she has a pair of black tennis shoes. She now comes to "Your 2 Feet" in Capital Hill for her most recent purchase of a pair of Loryn's (tan zippered Z-CoiL) shoe.

Although Mary Alice is officially retired five years ago, she now works per diem at Group Health. Her workdays are 12 hour night shifts. Per diem allows her the flexibility to adjust her hours around her travels all over the world. She has been to all seven continents. She went to Antartica four years ago on a cruise. She traveled on a small ship, which embarked from Iceland, for a 3 month cruise. She wears her Z-CoiL sandals the most (except in Antartica), but always takes another pair along in case she wants to go hiking. A couple of weeks ago she returned from a Hawaii cruise.
